Dear Friends,

With immense grief, we share with you that our dear friend Veeranjaneyulu Gorla & his wife Lalitha met with a major accident on Sunday, 18th Nov. 2012, when they were on their way to pick-up their son from a special class in Sunnyvale, California, USA.
Link to the news about the accident is here: http://www.mercurynews.com/sunnyvale/ci_22024806/woman-dies-injuries-sunnyvale-crash

Veer has suffered major head and brain injuries in the crash and is currently being treated at Stanford University Hospital. He is in coma and breathing with ventilator support. Sadly, Veer's wife Lalitha passed-away on the day of the accident. Veer's cousin Satya Gorla who was in the car during the accident luckily survived with minor injuries.

Veer and Lalitha have two children. Younger son (4yrs) has been living with his grandparents in India. Their older son (10yrs) who was in the US has been sent to India on Friday, 23rd Nov. 2012 to be cared for by his grandparents.

Veer works for Ericsson, San Jose, CA and Lalitha was working for Tesla, Fremont, CA. They are immensely talented software professionals and a great asset to their companies. Among friends, they are known for their warm and friendly disposition. They lived a life of example, extending their well wishes and help, by volunteering physically and financially to the needy.

At this juncture, when their children have been rendered motherless and father in critical condition, let us recognize the fact that it takes considerable financial resource to actualize the basic dreams that the parents would have had for their kids.

As we pray for Veer’s speedy recovery to good health and spirit, let us also contribute financially whatever we can for the welfare of the innocent tots thereby doing our bit for their secure future. Kindly do so by clicking the donate button below.

Veer & Lalitha’s friends would also like to thank Ericsson/TANA/BATA teams for their timely help.

Appreciate all your help.

Thank You,
Friends of Veer and Lalitha.

  9. Hello,

I wanted to share that it seems Veeranjaneyulu Gorla's name, with a typo as "Veeranjaneyula", appears on a Santa Clara County (California) tax site spreadsheet for unclaimed monies from General Collections.

I saw information on this incident online and am very sorry to read of it. I could not find any contact information for Mr. Gorla's family but wanted to pass this along to someone who may know them.

The County's site is an sccgov.org site, findable by searching for "Santa Clara County unclaimed monies" or similar. Claim forms are able to be submitted until March 14.

    My sympathies to all.
